David L. Sigmon
President: As president and principal of BMI-HealthPlans, he has been responsible for managing benefit and labor issues of three Fortune 500 companies. His career has involved negotiating contracts with labor unions, insurance companies and physicians, both domestically and internationally. He has served on various public and private boards including that of a regional hospital, a national bank, a state worker's compensation board and is a member of the National Health Care Lawyers Association.

Ford Drummond
General Counsel: Ford oversees all the technical aspects of claims management, ERISA and other issues surrounding state and federal regulations. Prior to joining BMI-HealthPlans, he served as a staff attorney for the American Medical Association and as a legislative assistant to a member of the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee in Congress. He also has experience in private legal practice, managed care, fraud & abuse and medical reimbursement issues. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law and received an undergraduate degree in economics from Stanford University.

Operations Managers: A claims manager and operations manager are located in each regional office. Each manager has over 10 years of experience in claims administration and medical services. These managers are backed up by nurses and physicians who are either on staff or available through our medical review companies.
